We have had quite a few calls about this and we can tell you now, it is NOT easy.
It is NOT a money spinner and it may take up to 4.5 months for a WDA and 9 months for a CD licence, what with MHRA and Home Office delays.

Not all Consulting is Good Consulting

Why are we turning down work? Because it isn’t good work, and not all money is good money.

Holding and running a WDA the “right” way is not easy, not cheap, and not something you can just bolt onto your pharmacy. To do it right costs, and in most cases there are no returns on investment, which to Paradigm Shift Consulting Limited is bad business.

“Just take their money” used to be something we heard an awful lot, but we do not want to create problems for our clients, the supply chain, us or the MHRA, by getting licences for people who do not understand, or will not appropriately resource.

It will pain you to “lose” business, but there are other simpler options such as broker registration, or signing up as a commission-based business development consultant, negotiating on behalf of the supplier, obviating the need for a broker reg completely.

So why do we offer you services where we get no financial benefit? Because it’s the right thing to do, and it is what we would choose ourselves.

Good consultants solve problems, not prolong them for financial benefit.

We have a number of companies we work with that will be happy to discuss your needs. In most cases, your work will be supply against prescription, so getting a WDA and CD licence for requisitions is quite frankly, bonkers.

Heed our words… don’t do it. And if anyone is entertaining you on this, question in whose best interests are they actually working for.
